PigeonCast is a screen casting protocol we specifically designed for users. Both the sender and receiver are self-developed to ensure seamless compatibility. Compared with traditional protocols, it provides a more stable connection, faster response, smoother experience, and higher-quality visuals, helping you easily enjoy HD casting.
-
PigeonCast optimizes the data transmission path, delivering faster connection and response speeds, making it ideal for real-time casting scenarios such as gaming or video conferencing.
-
With intelligent frame rate adjustment and buffering mechanisms, it avoids stuttering or delays, ensuring silky-smooth mirroring or video casting-even for highly dynamic content.
-
Our proprietary algorithms support higher bitrates and resolutions (such as 4K), preserving more details, reducing compression artifacts, and delivering sharp, crystal-clear visuals-making it more suitable than traditional protocols for sharing HD content.
-
It emphasizes privacy and security (end-to-end encryption), low power consumption (extending device battery life), and cross-device compatibility (seamlessly connecting phones and computers to TVs). As an everyday user, you can enjoy professional-grade casting without complicated setup.
- Download our App on both the sending and receiving devices. Make sure the sender and receiver are on the same network, then search to connect or scan the QR code to pair. You can then begin your high-definition casting journey. Free trial available-welcome to experience it!
Yes. Security is core to our design: no viruses, no malicious ads, no data theft risks.
-
Ensure sender and receiver are on the same Wi-Fi and system times are synced.
-
Restart the app and try again.
-
Disconnect and reconnect both devices after a minute, then search again.
-
Confirm both devices are on the same Wi-Fi.
-
Disconnect and reconnect the sender's network.
-
Reinstall the app or restart the receiving device.
-
Wait a few seconds - some initial blurriness can be caused by the media player or network conditions.
-
Check if the receiver device has performance limitations.
-
For the best quality and stability, use our proprietary PigeonCast protocol.
-
Enable audio on the sender device and activate audio casting.
-
Some Macs may restrict audio streaming.
Yes! Whether casting over AirPlay, Google Cast, DLNA, or the PigeonCast protocol, you can enable "mute mode" on the sender device.
-
Move your device closer to the Wi-Fi router.
-
Close other apps using a lot of bandwidth, or consider a network upgrade.
Disconnect the cast, restart the video app, and try casting again.
-
High resolution and high bitrate place high demands on device performance and network stability. If the user's device performance is insufficient or the network is unstable, stuttering will be more likely.
-
This can be alleviated by lowering the resolution, frame rate, or bitrate.
-
The Mac system may mark a window that has been idle in the background for a long time as being in "sleep" state (even though the window still exists), which causes a black screen during mirroring.
-
Before casting, click into the window and perform a simple action (such as moving or clicking) to activate it, then start mirroring again.
Your data is protected end-to-end. Only the sender and receiver can decrypt; no server storage is involved. See our Privacy Policy for details.
