Select one or more inputs, then click Start Preview.
Enable at least one source. Screen sharing needs HTTPS or localhost. If you deny access to an input, it is turned off and preview continues with the others.
How to Use the Studio
- 1Choose Microphone, Webcam, and/or Screen, then click Start Preview.
- 2In the preview studio, turn sources on or off, adjust devices and webcam overlay, then start recording.
- 3Review and download your recording. Go back from preview to change sources; microphone and webcam usually stay ready. Screen share asks again when you turn it back on.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my recording uploaded to a server?
No. All recording and processing happen locally in your browser. Your screen, camera, and microphone data are never uploaded or stored on a server.
Can I record multiple sources at once?
Yes. You can record any combination of Screen, Webcam, and Microphone. This makes it easy to create tutorials, presentations, demos, and video messages.
Which browsers are supported?
This tool works best in the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers. Some features may be limited in Safari or Firefox.
How can I improve recording quality?
Use good lighting for webcam recordings, close unnecessary applications, and choose a high-resolution camera or display source when available. A modern device will also provide smoother recording performance.
