How to Transfer Files from Windows to Android TV
This guide explains how to use PigeonCast to transfer files and folders from a Windows PC to an Android TV over the same Wi-Fi network.
Step-by-Step Guide
Download and Install PigeonCast on Your Windows PC
The Windows PC will be used as the sending device. Choose one of the following installation methods:
Method 1: Install from the Microsoft Store
Search for PigeonCast in the Microsoft Store, and then click Get.

Method 2: Install with the Windows Installation Package
Download the PigeonCast installation package, run the .exe file, and follow the setup guide.

Download and Install PigeonCast on Your Android TV
The Android TV will be used as the receiving device. Choose one of the following installation methods:
Method 1: Install from Google Play
Search for PigeonCast in the Google Play Store on your Android TV, and then install the app.
Method 2: Install with an APK
Download the PigeonCast for TV APK, copy it to a USB flash drive, connect the flash drive to your Android TV, and install the APK.

Check the Network and Android TV Device Name
Make sure your Windows PC and Android TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and then open PigeonCast on both devices.
- On the Android TV, open PigeonCast Settings.
- Note the receiver name displayed for the Android TV.

Transfer Files from Windows to Android TV
On the Windows PC, click File Transfer.

Select the Android TV from the device list. You can send a message with the input box at the bottom or select files and folders to transfer.
